Liverpool have confirmed the following Barclays Premier League fixture changes due to their participation in the Europa League.
The Anfield meeting with Blackpool, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 2, will now be played on Sunday, October 3 at 3pm.
The home game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, October 23 has been changed to Sunday, October 24 at 3pm.
Supporters should also note the Anfield clash with Aston Villa, scheduled for Saturday, December 4 will also be moved. (more…)

Liverpool have been drawn at home to Northampton Town in the third round of the Carling Cup.
The Reds last played Northampton in a competitive fixture
in 1966 when the two teams fought out a goalless stalemate at the County Ground.
However, the Cobblers’ last visit to Anfield ended in a 5-0 defeat thanks to goals from Ian St John, Willie Stevenson, Roger Hunt, Ian Callaghan and Peter Thompson in
November 1965.
The game will be played at Anfield on Wednesday September 22, 2010, with an 8pm kick-off. (more…)

Liverpool will start off their Europa League Group K campaign with an Anfield clash against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday, September 16.The first away trip for Roy Hodgson’s men will be Holland and a visit to Utrecht on Thursday, September 30.The Reds will complete their Group with an Anfield return against Utrecht on Wednesday, December 15. Liverpool have been drawn alongside Steaua Bucharest, Napoli and Utrecht in Europa League Group K.
It means Roy Hodgson’s men will face a reunion with Andrea Dossena as well as trips to Romania and Holland.
Matches will be played on September 16 and 30, October 21, November 4, December 1/2 and 15/16.

Would all members please note that we have now SOLD OUT on match tickets and travel for the above game. Kick off is 3pm this Sunday and the coach will leave Grimsby at 09.30 hours.

We have received notification from Liverpool Football Club that the deadline for joining the All Red Membership Scheme in order to stand a chance to qualify for tickets from January 2011 onwards has been extended to 30th September.
Also with regards to linking with the Grimsby Branch, L.F.C. will supply us with a list after the deadline so that we can then cross refer to our own list, so if you have joined late last season, or have had problems linking our branch to your membership, this can be rectified and you will not lose out.
Don’t forget to Link our Branch and advise us when you have joined together with your membership number. (If you already have a Fan Card this will be the number the Club uses)

The coach will be departing from Grimsby at 0800 hours on the day of the match, which is Saturday 4th September, this is to allow our members the choice to be in Anfield when the pre-match entertainment starts at 1200 hours.
Also please note that we do have spaces left on the coach for people who have their own tickets, if you want to travel with us on our executive coach then all you have to do is please phone Mike Langmaid on our club mobile for further information – 07983-326933.
